Startup Insider serves founders, investors, and startup enthusiasts looking for news, company profiles, podcasts, events, and jobs. As the platform expanded, users increasingly struggled to find relevant information quickly. The challenge was improving discoverability and usability without reducing the breadth of content.
I conducted a heuristic evaluation and reviewed key user journeys across desktop and mobile.
Users struggled to locate content efficiently.
Reading and navigation became difficult on smaller screens.
Some users encountered barriers when interacting with content.
Important information was difficult to discover quickly.
